Can’t never did anything.

My father was not a good person or a good parent, but he did say one thing that really stuck with me… “Can’t never did anything”. I say it to myself a lot, and occasionally to other people.

I’ve updated the phrase a little, which in a way is even more critical… “Don’t say can’t when you mean won’t”.
